Fall is my favorite season. It’s such a cozy time of year and I love that we can still do activities outdoors before it gets too cold. One of our favorite fall activities is going to pick out pumpkins at a local pumpkin patch. We both love hunting for the perfect decor for our front doorstep. For the last couple of years on my birthday, we head to a local pumpkin patch and apple orchard and spend the day outside. This year we brought along Luna and she loved it! We’ve already gone back.

Fall is such a great season to make new traditions and go on new adventures. From things as simple as going on a drive through the country to see the leaves changing color to grabbing a coffee at a new cafe, Phil and I love taking the time to explore more of our surroundings. In the summer, we’re often traveling, but in the fall we love sticking closer to home and appreciating the simpler things. Every day on our morning runs, we’re both excited to see if the leaves have changed color yet – it’s almost time! Even if we only have an hour to do something, we try to get out and do some type of fall activity.
