It’s the last week of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and there are still some great items in stock. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is the best opportunity to shop upcoming fall trends and the best part is everything is on sale. It’s the one opportunity where you can shop brand new arrivals at discounted prices before prices go back up on August 6th.

The sale is my favorite time to start stocking up on wardrobe basics that will get me through the fall season. I always buy pieces that I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of and I gravitate towards better quality items as much as I can. Today I wanted to share my favorite wardrobe staples from the sale that are still in stock.

Cozy Cardigans

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale has one of the widest selections of cardigans. Who doesn’t love a cozy cardigan!? I could wear one everyday in the fall and winter and even now when it’s cooler at night, I’ll reach for one. I bought this oversized cardigan from the sale. I always have a black cardigan on hand because you can throw it on over anything. Here are more of my favorite cardigans from the sale.

Sunglasses

You probably know by now that I have an obsession with sunglasses. I can rarely pass up a chic pair. I bought these from the sale and I’ve already worn them quite a bit. I also love these – which are still in stock. Here are more of my favorites.

Basic Tees

I can’t talk about wardrobe basics without talking about the basic I wear most – a simple tee. I live in black and white tees most days and there are so many great tees included in the sale that you can’t pass up. This v-neck is included in the sale and under $12! I bought several in the same color because I know I’ll get a lot of wear out of it. Here are more of my favorites.

Everyday Jewelry

One category that flies under the radar a little bit is jewelry. The sale always has such a great selection of affordable jewelry that it’s become one of my favorite parts of the sale to shop. I bought this layered necklace at the sale in both gold and silver and unfortunately it sold out super fast, but this one is super similar. Here are more of my favorite jewelry picks.

Fall Footwear

From new running shoes to everyday booties to the statement shoe of the season – there’s a pair of shoes for every occasion in the sale. I bought these running shoes, these everyday booties and these sock booties – which are a fall must-have. I love a shoe that gives me height, but is still comfortable and these sock booties do not disappoint. I also bought these running shoes and they are so comfortable – they just go restocked too! Here are my favorite footwear picks from the sale.

Denim

One of the best-selling categories during the sale is denim and for good reason – Nordstrom has such a great selection of the best brands included in the sale. I bought these AG jeans during the Early Access event and they sold out pretty quickly, but they keep getting restocked in several sizes so be sure to check back if you want them and don’t see your size. Here are more pairs of denim that I love.

Nordstrom is my favorite retailer for so many reasons – they have the best well-edited selection, affordable price points as well as the latest designer pieces and they have the most convenient shipping and return policy (free shipping and returns). I often forget about all of the other perks to shopping at Nordstrom though. They also offer personal fashion and beauty stylists in-store to help recommend and hunt down products; same day delivery within 10km of their store for just $15; and alterations services – something I utilize quite a bit. Their alterations department is great to utilize during the sale too if you can’t find the item you want in your size.

I always shop both online and in-store during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale because I love seeing the pieces in person, but ultimately online usually offers the widest selection. It’s always fun to go to shop in store though because the Nordstrom stores have such an energy about them.
