The Nordstrom Anniversary is still going on and if you’re like me, then you probably can’t get enough of it! Now that I’ve got all my fall wardrobe staples out of the way, it’s time to dig into the beauty department. You’ve probably noticed that a lot of fashion items are sold out; however, there are still a lot of great buys for your beauty drawer that are in stock. Beauty tends to be one of the last categories I shop because they don’t sell out as quickly. Keep in mind that prices will go back up on August 5, so you only have about two weeks to stock up on makeup, skin, and hair essentials you’ll likely never see marked down again! Makeup

Every year, I get so excited to see all the exclusive makeup kits that are part of the #NSale. This year, I picked up Urban Decay’s All Nighter set – I swear by this product for long lasting, sweat-proof makeup. The jumbo and travel sized bottles should keep me covered till the end of the year. Charlotte Tilbury and Laura Mercier also some of my favorite makeup brands and there are so many great sets that are hard to pass up, like this everyday eyeshadow palette.

Skincare

I talk about La Mer all the time on the blog, and although it’s one of my favorite skincare brands, it’s super pricey. It’s usually included in the #NSale every year so I always pick up a new container of the moisturizing cream. It always comes in handy in the fall and winter when temperatures drop and my skin gets dry.

Tools

A few years ago, I purchased the GHD flat iron from the #NSale and I love it so much that I’d recommend you guys pick one up this year too. Although you can get sleek and smooth results with a drugstore straightener, the GHD one protects the hair from heat damage and serves your hair better in the long run. If you’re looking for a budget beauty buy, the BeautyBlender might be one of the best purchases ever for your makeup routine!

Extras

I just love Diptyque candles and I love that I can score them on sale during this event. This set is a great purchase to keep on hand and give as a gift later. I also always stock up on essentials, such as my favorite Chanel perfume and Phil’s favorite cologne.
