The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale officially opens up to the public today – and it’s one of the best sales all year. If you haven’t had a chance to look through the sale, I highly recommend it since this is your chance to score discounted fall clothing! I featured my top picks in these posts here and here, but many of them have already sold out! Luckily, there are still a lot of great items that are in stock. Today, I’ll be covering the pieces that you can still get your hands on and can get a lot of wear out of. This usually means neutral-colored staples that are well made. Cardigans

Cardigans are the perfect transitional piece when you’re going from summer to fall. Many of the styles in the #NSale are light enough to throw over a camisole now and layer with heaver knits later. I always stock up on cardigans during the sale to get me through fall.

Basics

I wear basics throughout the year, especially in the fall when layering is everything. Whether you’re looking for the perfect layering turtleneck or a long sleeve tee, I rounded up my favorites that are still in stock in most sizes below!

Denim

Some of my favorite buys from the #NSale are premium denim. I love high-end denim because the details are truly one-of-a-kind. From the whiskering to the wash and distressing, it’s hard to score the perfect pair on sale. This is your chance for the perfect pair of jeans from brands like Rag & Bone, Frame, Paige, Hudson, and more!

Boots & Booties

An updated pair of boots is a great way to get a head start on your fall wardrobe. I’m all about over-the-knee boots in the colder months and have already been wearing this one by Stuart Weitzman. However, I also love more casual booties you can pair with jeans and a tee.

Outerwear

During last year’s #NSale, the teddy bear coat was probably the hardest piece to get your hands on and Nordstrom couldn’t have enough to keep them in stock! This year, I have my eyes on this one (and here too). You also can’t go wrong with the classics, such as a blazer and moto jacket!

Activewear

When the temperatures drop, there’s nothing I want to wear more than leggings and oversized hoodies. The sale has such a good mix of active and loungewear pieces from Nike, Adidas, Zella, and Champion. I’ve already started wearing my Nike leggings repeatedly this past week!

Extras

It’s easy to get lost in the inventory of shoes and knitwear, but there are tons of great accessories too! My favorite way to elevate my fall outfits is with a fedora or oversized cashmere scarf.
