Today is the first day of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Early Access for those who are part of the Nordy Club Icon status! It’s such an exciting time because we’re now only 10 days down till the sale opens up to all cardholders. Although I recently shared my favorite picks from the preview (here), I wanted to give you a closer look at the key items that are 100% worth picking up. I’m sure you’re bombarded with so many updates on the sale, so I wanted to cut through the noise and share only the pieces that you should buy. You guys know that I’m all about quality over quantity and going after pieces that you’ll get the most wear out of. So, I went through the entire sale one more time and narrowed down my top picks to the pieces below.

The Key Items On My Wish List

If I was to narrow down my fall shopping to just 25 clothing items, it would be the pieces here. This curated selection focuses on classic outerwear, cozy knits, bottoms to last you through fall, and plenty of shoe options to brave the chilly weather. These are the items that I feel will sell out super fast so I’d grab them before anything else.

My Outerwear Picks

Since I live in Minnesota and the weather is cold most of the year, I always stock up on outerwear during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. This year, I’m focusing solely on classic silhouettes, camel coats, and moto jackets. This shearling moto jacket is high on my shopping list!

My Knitwear Picks

Neutral-colored knitwear is one fall garment you can’t go wrong with. Just like coats, I feel like I can never have too many sweaters and cardigans. I’m super excited for this cashmere sweater – it’s such great value for the price and I know it’ll keep me warm and cozy.

My Shoe Picks

If you missed out on Stuart Weitzman over-the-knee boots during the winter sales, now’s your chance to grab an updated pair on sale! If you’re well stocked on boots for the season ahead, these snake print mules might be all you need in terms of footwear.

My Denim Picks

I always grab a few new pairs of jeans during the NSale because it’s a great opportunity to score the latest premium denim styles at a discounted price. I’m loving this faded wash and these distressed jeans.

My Sneaker Picks

I can’t get over the sneaker selection this year! All the Adidas and Nike styles are seriously a steal, especially the Stan Smiths and Swift Run sneakers.

My Favorite Basics

During the NSale, I always keep an eye out for pieces that I can wear now – but later too. These cowl neck camisoles are perfect for that. I also love that Nordstrom included all my favorite faux leather leggings in the sale this year – they’re definitely a fall staple!

My Activewear Picks

I can pretty much live in athleisure outfits during the fall because they’re so comfortable and cozy. These joggers and pocket leggings are ideal for lounging around at home or running errands. The best part is, you can start wearing them now!

My Beauty Picks

As far as beauty goes, I recommend going after the items you know you repeatedly use. For me, that’s the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk lip set, Olaplex haircare set, and Urban Decay Setting Spray. I can never have too many backups because I use them regularly.

My Accessories Picks

My accessories are pretty minimal in the fall but I’m usually never without a fedora and dainty gold jewelry. Two of the pieces I wear most are included in the sale (here and here). 

My Home Picks

You only need a few things to gear up your home for the fall season, including a cozy throw blanket, new candles, and a diffuser. I usually buy extras and give them as gifts later in the season!
