At the start of every new season (or new year) I always search for a new designer bag to add to my closet. I love investing in designer bags because they last forever and they hold their value really well if you want to resell them down the line. It’s the main area of my wardrobe that I splurge on. There are so many bags that I’m loving right now, it was hard to make a decision to buy just one. I wanted a new bag to kick off the year as I start transitioning away from winter colors towards lighter, spring colors (although it’s still freezing here). I ended up buying this Saint Laurent bag. I’ve been coveting it for a while and when I saw this grey color, I couldn’t pass it up. I went with the large size because as much as I love the mini bag trend, larger bags are just more practical for everyday use. I wanted to share my top 5 designer bag picks for this year. 1. Large Collège

This is my first designer bag purchase of 2018 and my first Saint Laurent bag purchase ever. I love the large size for everyday use. I wanted a gray bag to pair with neutrals. I love this shade of gray and the graphite metal chain adds the perfect edgy touch.

I have this bag in the medium size in black and love it. It's probably among my top 3 favorite bags. I've been lusting after the camel-colored version. I'd probably opt for the small or mini to change it up.
